Boy Meet Machine

My eldest started school this year. One of the requirements for school is a library bag. 'What a great activity to do together' i think to myself and so over the weekend we sat down and he picked out some fabric from my ever growing stash, and he sewed it himself using my machine.

Ok ok, so i helped him, after all he is only four and a half, i did do the hem around the top and sew the handles on, but he completely did the sides himself, the foot pedal, the guiding, everything, with only me hovering over him reminding him to "keep it straight".
